Injuries Sustained in Bakersfield Accident on Highway 99 near California Avenue
Bakersfield, California (June 29, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a crash between two vehicles in Bakersfield on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An SUV and a Jeep Cherokee were involved in the collision that occurred at around 11:15 a.m. on Highway 99 near California Avenue.
The vehicles collided on the northbound side of Highway 99 for unspecified reasons.
CHP said at least one person complained of pain in their neck and back.
At least three lanes were blocked as authorities worked at the scene.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
