Authorities Investigating Crash on 80 Freeway near 580 Freeway in Oakland
Oakland, California (June 4, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning car crash that happened on 80 Freeway in Oakland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 10:13 a.m. in the eastbound traffic lanes of the freeway at westbound 580 Freeway.
A sedan collided with a big rig for unknown reasons.
The collision resulted in minor injuries. An ambulance responded to the scene to provide medical aid.
CHP officers did not immediately determine the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
