Injuries Reported in Castaic Accident on 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road
Castaic, California (August 9, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision in Castaic on Sunday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The collision happened on northbound 5 Freeway north of Lake Hughes Road at about 12:20 p.m. on August 7.
According to authorities, at least four vehicles were involved in the wreck.
At least two ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
There was no update on the number of injured parties and the extent of their injuries.
The crash caused a closure of all northbound lanes as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the Castaic accident is ongoing.
