Phoenix, Ariz. – The man who was killed in a crash on Saturday morning in north Phoenix has been identified as Ivan Teklic, 87, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident happened on 32nd Street and Behrend Drive at about 11:30 a.m. February 17.
Police said a black vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on 32nd Street when it crashed into Teklic's vehicle, which was making a left turn from Behrend Drive.
Teklic was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The occupants of the second vehicle were not seriously hurt.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
