Jack Singleton II ID'd as Motorcyclist Killed in Bakersfield Crash at Sequoia Drive and Roberts Lane
Bakersfield, California (January 21, 2022) – The Kern County Coroner's Bureau has identified the motorcyclist who died Thursday night following a traffic collision at an intersection in Oildale as Jack Phillip Singleton II, 48, of Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of Sequoia Drive and Roberts Lane at about 7:23 p.m. Thursday, January 20.
Singleton II was riding a motorcycle in the area when, for unknown reasons, he was hit by a vehicle at the intersection.
Rider Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Collision Identified
Singleton II died at the scene of the crash.
Further details on the collision were not immediately released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the CHP.
