Jacob Cogburn ID'd as Rider Killed in Chula Vista Accident at Telegraph Canyon Road and Medical Center Drive
Chula Vista, California (February 10, 2022) – The motorcyclist who died in a collision in Chula Vista on Sunday morning has been identified as Jacob Cogburn, 49, of Chula Vista, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck happened on Telegraph Canyon Road and Medical Center Drive at around 7:20 a.m. February 6.
Cogburn was reportedly riding a motorcycle eastbound on Telegraph Canyon Road when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection.

Authorities said Cogburn was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, where he was pronounced deceased.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
