Jacorey Odu ID'd as Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Pomona (60) Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard in Monterey Park
Los Angeles, California (October 12, 2021) – The Los Angeles County Coroner's Bureau has identified the man who died Sunday morning following a multi-vehicle collision in Monterey Park as Jacorey Odu, 32, of Austin, Texas.
The deadly collision happened at about 4:50 a.m. Sunday, October 10, on the eastbound side of the Pomona (60) Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details on what led up to the crash were not immediately available.
One of the parties involved, Jacorey Odu, was declared dead at the scene.
All the eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed at Atlantic Boulevard as the officers cleared the scene.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
