Jasmine Soofi Killed in Arvin Crash on Wheeler Ridge Road and Teale Road
Arvin, California (October 18, 2021) – Jasmine Leann Soofi, 21, of Bakersfield, was killed in a collision that occurred near Arvin early Monday morning, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
The wreck happened at around 1:44 a.m. near Wheeler Ridge Road and Teale Road.
A four-door sedan was being driven recklessly in the wrong direction when it collided with a big rig.
Both vehicles ended up in the ditch after the collision.

Soofi was pronounced deceased at the scene following the accident.
The northbound lanes of Wheeler Ridge Road were closed for several hours after the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
