Palm Desert, Calif. – The bicyclist who died Tuesday night after colliding with a vehicle at an intersection in Palm Desert has been identified as Jay Groth, 62, of Indio.
The accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. on March 12, at Country Club Drive and Cook Street.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, Groth was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center where he declared deceased at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday.
