The California Highway Patrol said a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on Volta Road when it tried to make a left turn into a driveway and struck a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle operated by Jeb Brandy

Merced County, CA – The Merced County Sheriff's Office has identified amotorcycle rider who died after colliding with a vehicle on Volta Road early last month as Jeb Stewart Brandy, 52, of San Jose.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 32-year-old Los Banos man was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on Volta Road. The man then crossed the broken yellow line in the roadway to turn left into a driveway north of Highway 152. In the processs, the pickup truck struck the front of a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle heading northbound on Volta Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as Jeb Brandy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Merced County, CA. – A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Merced County on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 7:15 p.m. November 10, north of Volta Road near Highway 152.
The California Highway Patrol said a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on Volta Road when it tried to make a left turn into a driveway and struck a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist, a Los Banos man, was killed in the crash.
The other driver, a 32-year-old Los Banos man, was not injured.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not believed to have played a role in the crash, which remained under investigation.
