Jennifer (JJ) Fox Among 2 Killed in San Francisco Plane Crash near Golden Gate Bridge
San Francisco, California (May 7, 2022) – Jennifer (JJ) Fox of Sacramento has been identified as one of the two people who were killed in a Friday afternoon plane accident in San Francisco, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported just after 2 p.m. on May 6.
According to the officials, the experimental single-engine Vans RV-10 plane crashed on the ridgetop in the Marin Headlands.
The two people, including Jennifer (JJ) Fox, onboard the plane, died in the accident.
Investigators have not determined if the weather was a factor in the crash but confirmed the pilot was using VFR, visual flight rules to navigate, not IFR or instrument flight rules, typically used in bad weather. Authorities said there was dense fog in the area.
An investigation into the deadly incident is underway.
