Jennifer Lourenco Killed in Turlock Car Crash on Highway 165 near Greenway Avenue

, CA. – The Stanislaus County Coroner's Office has identified four people who died in a car crash that left two others seriously injured on Sunday morning in Turlock.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:25 a.m. on Highway 165 near Greenway Avenue.

22-year-old Uriel Guizar Negrete, of , was driving an Infiniti northbound on Highway 165 at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a Jeep driven by 44-year-old Daniel Lourenco.

Both drivers were killed in the crash.

45-year-old Jennifer Lourenco, a teacher at Unified School District, was in the front passenger seat of the Jeep and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

16-year-old Madelynn Lourenco, a student at Pittman High School, was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

A 19-year-old woman and 14-year-old boy, both from Turlock, remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The family was reportedly driving to church when the crash occurred.

All passengers in the Jeep were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the police.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
