Pedestrian Killed, Jesus Hernandez Arrested after Sonoma County Crash on Highway 101
Sonoma County, California (February 21, 2022) – Jesus Jimenez Hernandez, 29, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a crash that left a pedestrian dead in Sonoma County early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 101, just south of River Road shortly after 4 a.m. February 19.
CHP said Hernandez was driving a Honda Pilot southbound on Highway 101 when he collided with a man walking in the area.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the responding firefighters and medics.
Hernandez reportedly stopped on the shoulder of the highway after the collision.
Authorities arrested Hernandez and booked him into the county jail on DUI charges.
The crash is under investigation.
