Jesus Medina ID'd as Man Killed in Brentwood Car Crash on Brentwood Boulevard near Byron Highway
Contra Costa County, California (October 28, 2021) – The Contra Costa County Coroner's Bureau has identified the man who died Tuesday afternoon in a possible head-on collision in Brentwood as Jesus Virgen Medina, 39, of Pittsburg.
The deadly wreck happened at around 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, in the 11400 block of Brentwood Boulevard near Byron Highway.
Authorities said three vehicles collided on Brentwood Boulevard under unclear circumstances. Two of the cars were described as a gold sedan and a van.

Medina was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics. Their condition at this time remained unknown.
The lanes of Brentwood Boulevard were closed for several hours as the investigation and cleanup took place. Highway 4 was also closed in both directions at Sellers Avenue, authorities said.
