Jesus Meza-Leyva Killed in Fresno County Crash on Highway 168 near Auberry Road
Fresno County, California (January 2, 2022) – 21-year-old Jesus Meza-Leyva, of, Clovis, was killed in a collision that happened in Fresno County on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened on Highway 168, east of Auberry Road at around 8:15 p.m. January 1.
CHP said the Meza-Leyva was driving a Toyota MR2 westbound on Highway 168 when he lost control while negotiating a crest.
The vehicle drifted into the eastbound side and was struck by a Toyota Tacoma.

Meza-Leyva died at the scene of the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
