Jesus Peraza Killed in Buttonwillow Crash on Old River Road near Valpredo Avenue
Buttonwillow, California (November 10, 2021) – Jesus Adalberto Rosales Peraza, 47, of Bakersfield, has been identified as the man who died in a collision involving his forklift on Tuesday evening in Buttonwillow.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Old River Road west of Valpredo Avenue, at around 6:10 p.m. on November 9.
Peraza's forklift is reported to have collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

Peraza died in the collision.
A second party involved in the accident was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
