A driver was operating a vehicle heading the wrong way on Highway 82 when he crashed with a car
Ellensburg, Wash. – Jodi Begaye, 40, of Wapato, was injured in a fatal car accident near Ellensburg on Saturday night, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened on Interstate 82 at around 10:15 p.m. on December 16.
The WSP said Paul Harr, 57, of Renton, was operating a vehicle heading the wrong way on Highway 82 when he crashed with a car driven by Antoine Honanie, 40, of Wapato.
Honanie died at the scene while the passenger in his vehicle, identified as Begaye, was transported to an Ellensburg hospital.
The WSP is investigating to find out the cause of the crash.
