The Ridgecrest resident was involved in the collision around 8:20 p.m. on Highway 178 at North Calvert Boulevard.
Ridgecrest, CA. – 85-year-old John Gardner Turner Jr. died in a motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday evening in Ridgecrest, the Kern County coroner reported.
The Ridgecrest resident was involved in the collision around 8:20 p.m. on Highway 178 at North Calvert Boulevard.
Authorities said Turner Jr. was riding his motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.
Emergency personnel took the rider to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, where he died shortly after.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
