John Ople Killed in Cerritos Crash on 91 Freeway and Shoemaker Boulevard
Cerritos, California (December 17, 2021) – John Ople, 33, has been identified as the man who was killed in a deadly crash that happened on the 91 Freeway in Cerritos on Friday morning.
The incident was reported shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the area of Shoemaker Boulevard.
According to the report, a vehicle slammed onto the center divider along the eastbound lanes of the freeway then was hit by a semi-truck.

Ople was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash caused a closure of the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
