Jorge Rodriguez Killed, 2 Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 135 in Orcutt
Orcutt, California (March 7, 2022) – 19-year-old Jorge Valera Rodriguez of Guadalupe has been identified as the man who was killed in a head-on collision on Friday night in Orcutt.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. March 4, on Highway 135.
Authorities said three cars were involved in the crash, but the circumstances of the collision were not immediately established.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated victims trapped in the vehicles.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were rushed to the hospital with major injuries.
More details about the accident were not provided.
Authorities are yet to determine the cause of the collision.
