28-year-old Jose Andres Guerrero Talamantes was arrested on March 1 after allegedly hitting and killing a motorcyclist in December last year.

Maricopa County, Ariz. – The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old Jose Andres Guerrero Talamantes in connection to a hit-and-run accident that happened last year in Carefree, leaving a motorcyclist dead.
The collision killed 27-year-old David Hadrich.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. on December 10 near Pima and Cave Creek roads.
Andres Guerrero Talamantes was reportedly driving a truck when he struck Hadrich, who was riding on a motorcycle, and fled the scene.
Hadrich was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
On February 9, investigators were tipped by a caller who said the possible suspect vehicle involved was a white 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD found at a storage yard in Glendale.
MCSO Vehicular Crimes Detectives conducted a follow-up and found the truck at the storage yard and seized it.
The investigators processed the vehicle and evidence that led to the arrest of Andres Guerrero Talamantes on March 1.
The suspect was booked into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run charges resulting in death.
Authorities said the suspect admitted to being a drug user and that he was on drugs during the collision. His bond was set at $150,250.

California law requires drivers to stop after an accident and give the other parties involved their name, address, and insurance details. If the victim is hurt, the driver is also required to give reasonable assistance, including calling for medical help.
A driver who does not stop and give information or help after an accident can be charged with hit and run, which is a criminal offense.
Victims of hit and run accidents may be eligible for compensation for damages, injuries and losses under their own insurance policy or through a lawsuit.
If you or your family member has been involved in a hit and run accident, seek medical attention immediately and report the incident to the police. Contact a personal injury lawyer to help navigate the legal process and seek compensation for damages.
If you've been in a hit and run accident, you may still be able to get compensation for damages, but it's a little more complicated than other types of car accidents. That's because in most cases, the driver at fault flees the accident scene, so it's hard to find them and hold them responsible.
If you have an uninsured motorist policy, you can file a claim under this type of coverage. This type of coverage is meant to protect you if you get into an accident with someone who isn't insured or has been hit by another car.
If the driver is identified and you're injured in the accident, you can take them to court to try to get compensation for your injuries or losses. If you're not able to get compensation from the state, you can apply to the Victim Compensation Program for financial assistance.
