Umatilla County, OR – Two people were injured in a car collision in Umatilla County on Friday night, according to the Oregon State Police.
The wreck took place on Highway 207 on Friday, June 28.
The OSP said Trista Catherine Dexter, 40, was driving eastbound on the highway when she drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Jose Jimenez Carmona, 64, of Hermiston.
Carmona was airlifted to a trauma center with major injuries.
Dexter was also taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
OSP said impairment is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
