Phoenix, AZ. – Jose Franco, 49, has been identified as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle last week in Phoenix.
According to the police, the incident was reported in the area of 43rd Avenue and Earll Drive.
Franco was reportedly walking outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by an SUV that was driving northbound.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
