Jose Gutierrez ID'd as Man Killed in Bell Crash on Long Beach Freeway (710) near Florence Avenue
Bell, California (February 26, 2022) – The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has identified the man who died Saturday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash in Bell as Jose Gutierrez, 35.
The deadly crash occurred at around 2:11 p.m. on February 11 on the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), just north of Florence Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to Witnesses, a gray Honda CRV collided with a white Honda Civic in the southbound lane of Long Beach Freeway.
The CHP said a motorcyclist fell and was likely pinned under a vehicle.
Gutierrez died at the scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
