Jose Miranda Killed in Oxnard Accident on Hueneme Road and Arcturus Avenue
Oxnard, California (April 13, 2022) – The motorcyclist who died in a collision that happened in Oxnard Friday morning has been identified as Jose Miranda, 26, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck took place on Hueneme Road and Arcturus Avenue at about 11 a.m. April 8.
According to the report, Miranda was riding a motorcycle eastbound on East Hueneme Road when he broadsided a semi truck that was trying to turn onto Hueneme Road from Arcturus Avenue.

Miranda was ejected from the motorcycle by the impact of the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and performed live-saving measures on Miranda but he sadly died at the scene.
The operator of the big rig was uninjured.
The collision remains under investigation.
