Los Angeles, CA. – 41-year-old Jose Pineda has been identified as the man who died in a bicycle accident on Friday night in Lake Balboa near Van Nuys.
The accident happened around 8:11 p.m. on Woodley Avenue between Burbank and Victory Boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police say Pineda was struck by a speeding silver-colored SUV.
Officers responded to the incident and found the victim lying in the roadway.
