Julian, California (February 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on Wednesday afternoon in Julian, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened on State Route 78 near Great Southern Overland Stage Route at around 4:40 p.m. February 9.

CHP said a motorcyclist collided with a Ford F-150 pickup for undetermined reasons.

The rider was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.

The identities of the motorcyclist and the driver of the pickup were not available.

A section of State Route 78 was closed as authorities worked at the scene.
