Authorities said a 19-year-old woman was driving a Fiat on East Pinnacle Peak Road when she left the roadway and struck bushes and trees

Phoenix, AZ – Juliene Aumani, 53, died following a crash that took place in Phoenix on Friday evening, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place in the 5400 block of East Pinnacle Peak Road at about 8:35 p.m. July 5.
Authorities said a 19-year-old woman was driving a Fiat on East Pinnacle Peak Road when she left the roadway and struck bushes and trees.
She then went back into the roadway, drifted across the centerline, and collided with a Toyota Corolla that was driven by a 31-year-old woman.
Aumani was one of the passengers in the Toyota.
She was pronounced deceased at a hospital following the crash.
One other occupant of the Toyota was hospitalized with serious injuries while another three were in stable condition.
The driver of the Fiat was also taken to a hospital and was expected to survive.
It's unclear whether impairment played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
