At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Jurupa Valley Car Crash on Highway 60 near Van Burren Boulevard
Jurupa Valley, California (October 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle pileup that happened early Saturday morning in Jurupa Valley, leaving at least one person with severe injuries.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident at around 2:50 a.m. on Highway 60 near Van Burren Boulevard.
A black Toyota sedan, a silver sedan and a semi-truck were involved in the collision.
The driver of the semi called authorities reporting that he was pulled over to the right-hand shoulder when another vehicle hit the rear of his truck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found one person with major injuries. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid and transport the patient to the hospital.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
