Justin Weber Airlifted after Highway 395 Accident near Main Street in Janesville; Delbert Gavin Arrested

Janesville, California (January 13, 2022) – Justin Weber, 35, of Cottage Grove, Utah, was injured last week on Tuesday in an alleged DUI car crash in Janesville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened just before 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4 on Highway 395, just north of Main Street.
The CHP said a 2021 Dodge Ram, driven by Weber, was traveling southbound on Highway 395 while a 1994 Plymouth Voyager minivan, driven by Delbert Gavin, 53, of Susanville, was heading northbound on Highway 395 in the No. 2 passing lane.
The minivan reportedly made an unsafe lane change and struck the right front of a northbound 2017 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Robert Eide of Susanville.
Due to the impact, the minivan spun out of control into the southbound lane and hit the Dodge.
Multi-Vehicle Collision in Janesville
Weber was airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, with moderate injuries. Eide was uninjured.
Gavin sustained major injuries and was taken to the Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville for treatment before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
