Justino Rojas ID'd as Petaluma Man Killed in Highway 101 Crash in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, California (April 5, 2022) – The man who died following a wrong-way collision early Sunday morning in Santa Rosa has been identified as Justino Gomez Rojas, 36, of Petaluma, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened when Rojas was driving a pickup southbound on the northbound side of Highway 101 and collided with an oncoming SUV near the Hearn Avenue exit.
Rojas was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
The other motorist was hospitalized with major injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
