County, California (August 17, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol arrested 30-year-old Katherine Cahill of Texas following a on Friday last week in Napa County.

The accident happened at around 5:15 p.m. on August 13, at Silverado Trail and Deer Park Road, just north of St Helena.

According to the CHP dispatch, Cahill was heading east on Deer Park Road in a 2020 Jeep Cherokee when she ran a stop sign at the junction. Cahill then hit a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe heading north on Silverado Trail.

Responding emergency crews rendered aid to two Tahoe passengers injured in the crash. The patients were transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for further medical aid.

The 30-year-old man from driving the Chevrolet was unhurt in the accident.

Authorities arrested Cahill and booked her into Napa County jail on suspicion of DUI and causing injury.

An investigation is underway.
