At Least 1 Killed in Kern County Crash on Interstate 5 near Fort Tejon Road
Kern County, California (January 14, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a traffic collision in Kern County on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Fort Tejon Road.
The CHP said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person died at the site of the accident.
At least one other party was transported to Kern Medical with moderate injuries.
The northbound lanes of the freeway were closed for the investigation.
