Kevin Carter ID'd as Motorcycle Rider Killed in Lakeside Accident on Winter Gardens Boulevard near Sapota Drive
Lakeside, California (April 21, 2022) – Kevin Carter, 36, of Lakeside, has been identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office as the motorcycle rider who was killed in a crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Lakeside.
The crash occurred on Winter Gardens Boulevard near Sapota Drive just before 3:40 p.m. on April 17.
CHP said Carter was riding a motorcycle southbound on Winter Gardens Boulevard when he was hit by a northbound 2008 Chevrolet Blazer SUV that was making a turn onto Sapota Drive.

Carter was killed in the collision and his motorcycle had total damage.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
