Oceanside, CA. – Authorities are investigating a deadly bicycle crash at an intersection in Oceanside a month ago.
Kevin Cerv, 56, of Oceanside was identified as the victim killed a month after a traffic collision that happened at Oceanside Ranch Boulevard and Corporate Center Drive at around 3:51 a.m. April 9.
Cerv was riding his electric bicycle when he crashed with a gray Honda sedan at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
Cerv suffered severe injuries and was taken to Palomar Medical Center Emergency Department where his level of health continued to decline until 05/03/24 when he was pronounced dead.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation is underway.
