Kevin Serrano ID'd as 18-Year-Old Man Killed in Fowler Accident on E Lincoln and S Fowler Avenues

Fowler, California (April 15, 2022) – The man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Fowler has been identified as 18-year-old Kevin Serrano of Mendota, according to CHP.
The incident took place in the area of E Lincoln and S Fowler avenues shortly after 6:30 a.m.
According to the report, a van heading east on Lincoln Avenue failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with an SUV traveling on Fowler Avenue.
The SUV reportedly had the right of way when the accident happened.

The impact caused the van to roll over and one person was ejected.
Authorities said the ejected party, later identified as Serrano, died at the scene after the van landed on top of him.
Seven other occupants of the van and the driver of the SUV sustained moderate injuries.
The wreck caused a closure of Fowler Avenue as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
