, California (September 21, 2021) – Kimberly Lumpkins, 34, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Grass Valley on Saturday evening.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported at around 5:00 p.m. September 18, at Brunswick and Brunswick Pines roads.

Lumpkins was driving a Voyager northbound on Brunswick road when she veered into southbound lanes and sideswiped a Nissan Versa.

The Voyager then continued and collided head-on with a Honda Pilot driven by a 37-year-old Grass Valley man.

Lumpkins was killed in the crash, the CHP said.

The Honda driver suffered major injuries while the Nissan motorist, a 27-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.

Impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

More details regarding the crash were not provided.
