Kindra McAfee Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Jensen Avenue in Fresno County

, California (October 11, 2021) – Authorities have identified the woman who died in a Saturday afternoon traffic accident in County as Kindra McAfee, 18, of .

The deadly two-vehicle accident occurred at about 4:20 p.m. Saturday, October 8 on Jensen Avenue, just west of Sycamore Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, McAfee was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Jensen Avenue when she overshot her turn at Sycamore Avenue and made a U-turn directly in front of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling eastbound on Jensen Avenue.

The Camry ultimately struck the Jeep on the driver's side.

McAfee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other parties in the Jeep sustained minor to major injuries and were taken to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center.

Drugs or alcohol were not considered a factor in the accident. All the parties involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation.
