Woman Killed in Koreatown Pedestrian Accident on West Wilshire Boulevard
Koreatown, California (September 29, 2021) – A female pedestrian died after being struck by a train Wednesday afternoon in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The deadly incident was reported at around 1:04 p.m. in the 3170 block of West Wilshire Boulevard.
Authorities said the train hit the woman under unclear circumstances on the railroad tracks at the Redline station.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
No other details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
