Hesperia, CA – 22-year-old Kristy A. Knox of Rancho Cucamonga was identified by San Bernardino County Coroner's Office as a woman killed in a collision on Highway 395 in Hesperia last month.
The deadly wreck happened at around 2:07 a.m. on June 30 on State Route 395 and Smoke Tree Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Reportedly, Knox was driving a white Mini Cooper northbound on the highway when she lost control and drove into the aqueduct.
Knox was found dead inside a submerged Mini Cooper.
No further information about the accident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
