1 Injured in La Mesa Crash on Interstate 8 near Lake Murray Boulevard

La Mesa, California (September 23, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday morning in a traffic collision involving nine vehicles in La Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup crash happened at around 7:30 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 8 near Lake Murray Boulevard.
The CHP said three or four vehicles collided on the interstate. That accident triggered a pileup crash involving several other vehicles.
One of the vehicles flipped on its side following the collision.
