At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in La Verne Car Crash on Interstate 210 near Fruit Street
La Verne, California (March 10, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Thursday morning in La Verne, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup happened at about 4:16 a.m. on westbound Interstate 210, just east of Fruit Street.
Six vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Debris from the crash was scattered across all traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the accident.
The firefighters closed the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The report said a separate two-vehicle crash with minor injuries also occurred at the same scene around the same time.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the collisions.
