Lacy Conway Among 4 Killed in Rio Vista Accident on Highway 12 and Summerset Road
Rio Vista, California (July 29, 2022) – Lacy Conway, 19, of Vacaville, was among four people who died in a Solano County car accident on Wednesday evening, according to the coroner's office.
The wreck happened on Highway 12 and Summerset Road at around 8:15 p.m. on July 27.
According to the Rio Vista police, Jordan Colvin, 20, of Vacaville, was driving a Honda Accord westbound on Highway 12 when he went off the road. He then overcorrected and drifted into the eastbound side, where he collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet Suburban.
Colvin and one of his passengers were ejected by the impact of the collision.
Authorities said Colvin and his passengers, Erica Anderson, 18, and Lacy Conway, 19, of Vacaville, died in the accident.
A passenger in the Chevrolet, Laura Poiret, who was in her 70s, was also killed in the collision.
Six parties, including an 8-year-old and a teenage girl, were taken to hospitals and were reportedly in stable condition.
According to the report, the SUV was carrying seven Mexican nationals who were visiting California.
Both sides of Highway 12 were closed as authorities investigated the collision.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
