1 Killed in Upper Lake Crash on Nice Lucerne Cutoff Road, Lake County

Lake County, California (September 22, 2021) – One person was killed in a head-on collision that happened Wednesday morning in Upper Lake, a census-designated place in Lake County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 7:26 a.m. on Nice Lucerne Cutoff Road at Rodman Slough.
The crash involved a Chevrolet Camaro and a Honda Civic.
A party was trapped in the Camaro and needed extrication.
The report said one person died in the accident. The condition of the other parties involved was not mentioned.
The Civic was towed away in pieces, and the Camaro with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the collision.
