1 Killed in Lake Elsinore Crash on 15 Freeway near Railroad Canyon Road Off-Ramp
Lake Elsinore, California (January 29, 2022) – One person died in a crash involving a big rig that happened Friday night in Lake Elsinore, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 9:17 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, just north of the Railroad Canyon Road off-ramp.
A party called authorities reporting that a diesel truck was stopped on the right-hand shoulder when a silver Honda crashed into its rear. The Honda got entirely stuck under the big rig, and no one was seen outside the vehicle.
Responding authorities said one person died in the crash but did not give more details.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
