1 Killed, Another Injured in Lake Elsinore Car Crash on Railroad Canyon Road near Church Street
Lake Elsinore, California (October 23, 2021) – A Saturday morning Lake Elsinore car crash left one person dead and another hospitalized, as per a local news source.
The 10:00 a.m. wreck also forced the closure of eastbound Railroad Canyon Road near Church Street, where it occurred.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles were involved in the accident for unknown reasons.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities. Another person was transported to the hospital by ambulance in an unknown condition.
The road closure was expected to last for several hours.
Police officers are investigating the collision.
