At Least 1 Killed in Lake Elsinore Crash on Riverside Drive and Lake Crest Drive
Lake Elsinore, California (December 20, 2021) – At least one person died in a head-on collision that happened early Monday morning at an intersection in Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on Riverside Drive at Lake Crest Drive.
Two vehicles of unspecified make and model collided head-on at the intersection for unknown reasons.
A Riverside county coroner representative was requested to respond to the scene following the death of at least one person.
Traffic on Riverside Drive was stopped for about 4 hours following the incident.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
