4 Hospitalized, 2 in Critical Condition after Lake View Terrace Crash on 210 Freeway
Lake View Terrace, California (January 31, 2022) – Four people were seriously injured when a wrong-way driver collided head-on with another car, one of them erupting in flames, Sunday night in Lake View Terrace, as per a local news source.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver was, for unknown reasons, traveling eastbound on the westbound side of 210 Freeway near Osborne Street.
The wrong-way driver collided head-on with another car, and one of them caught fire and became fully engulfed.
The collision happened at around 9:24 p.m.
Four people were seriously injured in the accident. Two of them were hospitalized in critical condition, and the other two in “at least serious condition,” as per the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash prompted a SigAlert closing the Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway just east of Osborne Street.
