, California (November 14, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday afternoon fiery head-on collision that left four people, including a child, injured in Lancaster.

The accident happened at about 5:32 p.m. at 30th Street East and East Avenue G.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a four-door sedan collided with a Toyota pickup on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

As a result of the crash impact, one of the vehicles reportedly caught fire.

A child with mild complaints was airlifted to Children's Hospital . Three adults were also hospitalized in unknown conditions.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
