Woman Killed in Lancaster Car Crash on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Avenue H
Lancaster, California (February 14, 2022) – Authorities are investigating an early Monday morning deadly Lancaster car crash that happened on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman was killed in the 12:07 a.m. crash.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Avenue H, and involved multiple vehicles.
Witnesses told officers it was a head-on crash and a news videographer at the scene said one of the cars was driving the wrong way.
Authorities did not mention the age or identity of the woman killed in the accident.
All northbound lanes of the freeway were closed at Avenue H. Motorists were allowed to rejoin the freeway at Avenue G.
An investigation is ongoing.
